Human Pheromones. What are they?

Human pheromones – are biologic active substances for attraction, which are produced by endocrines glands and also by special body cells. When they are excreted, pheromones influence sexual behavior of other persons. They are secreted by special glands, which are situated directly on the skin of one or other animals and also on humans.

Such substances were discovered among animals for the first time. When these substances appear in the air, they are perceived by sensitive receptors of olfactory organs.

Apparently the cigarette is the morons tool of choice to keep from eating. Smoking is not a good choice.

Celebrities smoke

Cigarettes are an indelible part of the Hollywood culture, on and off the screen. On-screen, actors use cigarettes to shape a character; off-screen, if they smoke, sometimes it's their own image they're embellishing.

"Whether it hurts or helps, it's largely pegged to your cinematic persona," said Steven Ross, a professor of history at the University of Southern California who has written books on Hollywood and its influence on society.

"If you have Clint Eastwood smoking, everybody will think he's manly," he said. "Or a femme fatale, Sharon Stone, people would think it's sexy. But if you have a clean and wholesome image, smoking makes you less wholesome."

Many celebrities would rather keep their smoking to themselves. Some stars who are caught with a cigarette plead with the photographer not to use the image, sometimes offering other shots in return.

Morgan, of Splash, said teenagers in particular worry about getting in trouble with a studio or a network.

Stanton Glantz, director of the Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education at the University of California, San Francisco, said celebrities should be aware of the negative influence they can have on young fans, adding that magazines are culpable, too.

The higher profile of famous smokers is only one of several disturbing trends, anti-smoking groups that track smoking in the industry said. The Thumbs Up!

Thumbs Down! project of the American Lung Association of Sacramento-Emigrant Trails notes that 65 percent of on-screen smoking is being done by the leading actor in the movie and that smoking scenes are now found in more than two-thirds of PG-13 movies.

Various efforts are afoot to counter smoking in movies. Glantz at University of California, San Francisco, has led a project, Smoke Free Movies, that won the support of the American Medical Association and public health advocates in seeking that any movie that shows tobacco use get an automatic R rating and for anti-smoking ads to run beforehand.

The group also wants to prevent tobacco companies from benefiting from product identification by banning the showing of cigarette brands on films. (Under a 1998 agreement that limits how tobacco companies can market cigarettes, product placement in movies is no longer allowed.)

Charlize Theron got a part in the movie, because she smokes

As you know, smoking damages our health, but it helps on the promotion track. At least, the actress Charlize Theron was in this situation.

She told that she got a part in her last movie – in the drama “In the valley of El” – because of her bad behavior, smoking. And, it means that she wasn’t selected because she looks in a special way with a cigarette between her teeth or she is handy with pipes.

“I have smoked from time to time. But on the other hand, this thing helped me to obtain a role in the film “In the valley of El”. I always fight with the script writer and producer Poll Haggis at the ceremonies of some awards. There, he presented his film “Collision” and I the film “Nordic country”. We were 2 smokers – looser on the driveway. And he said: “I will write you a role”. And he did”, tells us the actress.

In the film, Charlize plays the role of detective Emily Sanders who investigates a soldier’s disappearance, returning from Iraq. The roles of his parents are played by Susan Sarandon and Tommy Lee Jones.

At her 32 years, ex-model, Theron not only smokes in spite of strict views of American government for this question, not so far ago she went to a gym for the first time, but only to accompany her friends and she declared that she will never visit it alone again.

There were times when Angelina spent time with a cigarette and a cup of coffee in a local pub before Awards Ceremony.

Before “Lara Croft” film shooting, she kept an interesting diet: “I was smoking and drinking as I did it before in stead of breakfasting.”

She smokes in the bed, when she plays some roles and she smokes drinking wine and coffee. She also uses smoking as a diet.

We do not know whether the actress smokes now as she did before, because now she has children, and she tries to protect them from cigarettes smoke.

This is what she told about film shooting with her co-actor Colin Farrell: “Collin smokes very often. There is always much smoke near his trailer. I tried to keep my son away from Colin’s quarters”.
